Why there is usually nothing to remove

There is no library, no search index and no stored copy of any video, photo or audio track on this service. Nothing is uploaded by users, nothing is published by us, and no file survives the request that produced it. Content that is removed at its source therefore becomes unavailable through Videospeichern at the same moment.

If material concerns you, having it taken down on the platform where it was published removes it from every route that leads to it, including this one. Each platform has its own copyright reporting process.

What a notice needs

If you believe Videospeichern is nevertheless infringing your rights, send a notice with the form below. To be actionable it should contain:

• your name, postal address and email address;
• a description of the work you hold the rights to;
• the exact address the notice is about, precise enough for us to locate it;
• a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, an agent or the law;
• a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them;
• your signature — in the form, typing your full name counts as your signature.

How a notice is handled

Complete notices are reviewed promptly. Where something on this site is within our control and the complaint is justified, it is removed or disabled. Where the material sits on a platform's servers, you will be told so and pointed to that platform's own reporting route, because that is the only place the content can actually be taken down.

Notices that are obviously incomplete, automated in bulk or abusive may be set aside without a detailed reply.

Counter-notices and misuse

If a request was made in error, a counter-notice can be sent through the same form with an explanation and your contact details. Knowingly filing a false claim of infringement can have legal consequences for the person filing it.
